Mexican Escape

Playa del Carmen was awesome! How could it not be? Mexico operates on its own set of rules. No Shirt? No Shoes? No Problema! We spent a week away from winter and was able to take in about 10% of what Playa had to offer.  Hopefully we'll be able to verify if 9 more visits will satisfy our beach cravings.

Winter Gangnam Style

Like all winters, dude had his birthday. This time it was his 7th, with a visit from the grandparents. We got to enjoy the snow (as much as one can at -10deg), compete in a pine wood derby with his "Hawaii 5 yOda" car, and attend a play in the city. The little princess kept up, of course, every step of the way.
